Texting your workforce from your web back office

Dotsignal provides your office and regional managers with the tools to send out bulk custom text messages to your entire workforce including agents you are looking to recruit.  

By Default, groups for Agent and Administrators in your office have already been created for you.  All agents and administrators with an account in your office or region are automatically assigned to the group called Office in the box labeled System Groups. See example screen shot below.

You have the ability to create and send targeted outgoing text messages, including targeted text messages to your agents. 

Lets get started by logging into your Dotsignal Back Office Account.


Click on the  Communicator tab and Create Broadcast.  Then under the heading "Step 1:" click on Craft Your Message.



To send out an outgoing custom text message go directly to the text box and type your message.  Click on Finished when you have finished creating your custom message.



To the right of "Step 2": Click on Contacts.


Select a group from the My Groups list that you manually created or Select a group that has been automatically created from the System Group list.  Then click on Select All or check the box next to the individuals you want included, then click on Add Selected.  

When completed click on Finished.


Verify your message in the sample phone on the left side of the page.  If needed you can edit your message by clicking directly on the phone screen.  

If your message looks ready to send then click on Schedule Broadcast to setup a future time for your text to be sent or Send Broadcast Now.


View Your Broadcast Reports

While you are in the Communicator page click on Broadcast Reports  

Note: This report will show you when the text broadcast went out and how may recipients received the text message.  You can even click on the sent broadcast to view more detail.
